On September 10th, the Orangebox Express road bike team left the factory in South Wales and headed for the big smoke, calling at; Newport, Chepstow, Devizes, Whitchurch, Guildford, Kingston & Clerkenwell. Around 200 miles of gruelling tarmac was covered by these sorry souls. No doubt there was plenty of pain, torment, wailing and gnashing of teeth, but once the lycra shorts were on, these plucky boys didn’t stop until the Orangebox showroom was in their sights. Riding in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and to promote low carbon commuting the team raised over £8000 for a fantastic cause. There was no Caerphilly mountain high enough, no Thames valley deep enough to stop these lads crunching every painful mile.
