It was a school excursion to Liepaja and it's main interest atraction ''Liepajas Metalurgs"(The name say's it all). The trip went good, we saw some unique things, also some big cranes. But the highlight of the tour was 170 tons of liquid metal pouring into a ''cup" that was later lift(while the metal is liquid) by cranes and send further in factory for later processing. I thought that the pouring metal would look amazing under low exposure and high fps, so I took out my camera(Sony HDR-SR11) and started filming the liquid metal. The diversity of the clips and angle's of the shoots where limited due to the high danger risk's. Even standing 30m away we felt like in a sauna. I can't imagine the heat coming to the workers that were standing just ~7-10m from the ''cup."
